Angel Fire Offers Unique Peer-to-Peer Lessons

Ski, Snowboard Lessons for Vets, by Vets at Military Winterfest

ANGEL FIRE, N.M. (Jan. 19, 2016) – This year organizers at the 2nd Annual Military Winterfest have expanded its unique Vet2Vet program that offers ski and snowboard lessons for vets, by vets. “We have several highly skilled ski and snowboard instructors who also have served in the Army, Air Force and Marines,” said Robin May, director of the Angel Fire Ski and Snowboard School. “Our veteran instructor team is ready to teach their fellow vets on a peer-to-peer basis. They have a unique perspective having served our country and teaching a sport that they love.”

Lessons and equipment are being offered to Military Winterfest registrants at half the regular price. Vet2Vet lesson reservations for every age and ability level are highly recommended and should be made no later than 48 hours before arriving. After booking lessons vets should meet in front of the Ski and Snowboard School sign at 9:45 a.m. or 1:45 p.m. ready to go, he said.
